Project Manager/ Asbestos Designer.

Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. (RE&LS) is a Rochester, NY - based consulting engineering firm specializing in providing state-of-the-art structural, transportation, land surveying, environmental, and geotechnical engineering services, committed to providing technically sound solutions to our clients. Due to sustained growth, we are seeking a Project Manager/ Asbestos Designer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Asbestos Project Designers conduct, plan, design, and develop procedures and specifications for asbestos abatement projects, or provide other substantive direction or criteria for projects.
• Author Site-Specific Variance petitions
• Review Reports for delivery to clients
• Maintain project schedules, budgets and meet project delivery milestones.
• Prepare and deliver proposals
• Schedule field work and performing inspections/design visits
• Occasional traveling to job-sites
• Balancing immediate and long-term work
• Comfortable in both an office and field environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a NYSDOH-certified Asbestos Project Designer & Asbestos Inspector.
• Bachelor of Science
• 40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations Certified (preferred)
• Valid NYS Drivers License
